Revolt RV1 Price

Revolt RV1 is the most affordable electric bike in their lineup currently

Revolt Motors has launched its third electric motorcycle the RV1 in India, priced at Rs. 84,990/- for the base variant and Rs. 99,990/- for the higher-spec RV1+ variant (both prices ex-showroom). Positioned as the most affordable model in Revolt’s electric motorcycle lineup, the RV1 joins the existing RV400 and RV400 BRZ offerings from the company.

The RV1 is available in two variants and offers four colour options. Revolt has emphasised practicality and simplicity in the design of the RV1, adopting a street bike aesthetic. The front features a circular LED headlamp paired with a smoked windscreen and instrumentation is provided via a 6-inch digital LCD display. One of the standout features is the built-in charger storage, adding convenience for riders.

Performance and Range

The RV1 comes with two battery options. The standard RV1 variant is equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 100 km on a full charge, while the RV1+ variant features a larger 3.24 kWh battery, offering an extended range of 160 km. Both models are powered by a 2.8 kW electric motor, which delivers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive, a notable difference from the RV400, which uses a belt drive.

The RV1+ variant also supports fast charging, capable of reaching a full charge in 1.5 hours. In addition, the RV1 comes with a reverse mode to assist riders in manoeuvring in tight spaces. The payload capacity of the RV1 is rated at 250 kg, which Revolt claims is the highest in its segment.

Ride and Handling

The motorcycle features a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear for suspension duties, while braking is managed by disc brakes at both ends. With its focus on urban mobility, Revolt has designed the RV1 to be user-friendly while offering modern features.

Commitment to Sustainability

Speaking at the launch, Mrs. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, highlighted the company’s commitment to producing a budget-friendly electric motorcycle that doesn’t compromise on quality or safety. She stated, “The RV1 is a perfect blend of cutting-edge technology and thoughtful design, aimed at providing an exhilarating riding experience for the discerning Indian rider.”

The introduction of the RV1 marks another step in Revolt’s expansion within the electric motorcycle segment, aiming to attract budget-conscious buyers looking for sustainable transportation solutions. With its competitive pricing and focus on utility, the RV1 is likely to appeal to urban commuters seeking an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional motorcycles.
