Renault introduces new Urban Night edition range with black exterior
Renault has launched the new Urban Night edition range for the Kiger, Triber and Kwid ahead of the festive season. This special edition is limited to only 300 units per model. The Urban Night edition is based on the range topping variants of these cars.
It comes with a premium pricing of Rs. 14,999/- over the top models of Renault Kiger and Triber and Rs. 6999/- over the Renault Kwid.
All three models get a Stealth Black exterior colour with Stardust Silver accents. This exterior colour is new to the Triber and Kwid models. Apart from this new colour combo, there are no changes on the exterior of this limited edition.
The interior remains unchanged but Renault is offering new features with the Urban Night edition which includes Smart Mirror Monitor, Ambient Lighting, illuminated scuff plate and puddle lamps.
The Smart Mirror Monitor seems like an aftermarket accessory that comes with 9.66-inch colour screen which doubles as an interior rear view mirror with adjustable view angles and monitor for front & rear camera recording with wireless smartphone connectivity for downloading recorded content.
The Smart Mirror Monitor is only available with Kiger and Triber. Ambient lighting is only available with the Kiger. Meanwhile the Kwid is only offered with illuminated scuff plate and puddle lamp.
There are no mechanical changes in these special edition cars, they continue to be offered with the same engine options. Renault hopes to boost the sales of these cars with the introduction of this special edition during the festive season.
