The new Triber is spotted under heavy camouflage to keep up all the suspense about the car.
The upcoming Renault Triber has been spotted on the Indian roads with the car draped in camouflage but it gives us a hint of the dimensions and styling that will be offered in the new Renault. It was just early this month that Renault India officially announced the name of its upcoming all-new 7-seater vehicle.
The silhouette of the Renault Triber test mule hints at a compact 7-seater, quite similar to the Datsun GO+, but it most likely won’t be a sub-4 metre vehicle. Due to the heavy camouflage, there isn’t much one could say about the exterior design or styling, apart from the fact that it will come with roof rails, rear windshield wiper, and a rear spoiler. The 7-seater model also appears to come with a decent amount of wheelbase, with shorter overhangs, which means it will be quite spacious.
The car is said to have an easily removable third row, that is expected to have a manual folding and unlatching operation, which would be simple for most people to carry out easily. This will allow people to opt for seating space for 7 passengers, or a larger amount of boot volume for more cargo space – as per their needs.
The upcoming Renault Triber is designed and developed for the Indian market and is based on a modified version of the CMF-A platform that underpins the Kwid. To follow the mandatory safety norms, the upcoming Renault Triber will come with standard features like ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, speed alert system and driver seatbelt reminder. The exact engine options for the upcoming Renault Triber are unknown as of now but the vehicle is expected to get both petrol and diesel engine options with a choice of a manual and an AMT gearbox.
