Renault has introduced AMT gearbox option with Triber.
After unveiling it at the 2020 Auto Expo, Renault has finally launched the Triber AMT. The Renault Triber Easy-R is priced from Rs. 6.18 lakhs (ex-showroom).
There is a difference of Rs. 40,000/- between MT and AMT variants. With this pricing, it seems like an attractive package for those looking for the convenience of AMT in Triber.
The Renault Triber AMT is available in three variants – RXL, RXT and RXZ. Bookings of the same have commenced online. Deliveries will begin shortly in a phased manner across the country depending on the safe zones.
Powering the Triber AMT is the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. It churns out 72 PS at 6250 RPM and 96 Nm at 3500 RPM.
The Triber is a well equipped 7-seater vehicle. It comes with EASYFIX flexible seats, skid plates, LED instrument cluster, AC vents in 2nd and 3rd row, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 182 mm ground clearance, etc.
With the growing demand of automatic transmission options, adding an AMT option to the Triber is a good move by the automaker. Renault also exports the Triber from India to South Africa and SAARC countries.
