Renault will be launching two new products in India in 2012. The French automaker has already launched one product, the Pulse hatchback and will soon launch the Duster Crossover, which is showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo. This leaves us with the upcoming C-segment sedan which Renault plans to launch in the country, to compete with the likes of the Honda City and Skoda Rapid. When Renault announced its plans to launch a hatchback, everyone thought it would be the awesome Clio or probably the Twingo. Turns out the Pulse is nothing but a Micra with a boot.
Nowadays almost all manufacturers are heavily investing (their time not money) into badge engineering and we feel that the Renault C-segment sedan could turn out to be a more aggressive looking Sunny sedan. MotorBeam rendering specialist has come up with his impression of what the Renault Sunny sedan could look like. The front styling could go aggressive just like the Pulse, while the side and rear would see little or no changes. Engine power would come from the same motors which do duty on the Nissan Sunny and Renault could offer more features to position its version differently. Do you think it would work?
