The interior of the new Renault RBC has been revealed in the latest spy images.
The interior of Renault’s sub-4 meter RBC MPV has been spied for the first time. The new images reveal the AMT gearbox and some equipment that will be on offer. The Renault RBC will be based on the modified version of the CMF-A platform and will be positioned above the Kwid.
The interiors of the Renault RBC will get a dual-tone dashboard with a silver finish at the top and a touch-screen infotainment system in the centre. The three-spoke steering wheel will also have silver inserts and the instrument cluster housing will feature a chrome finish. The gear lever and aircon vents on the extreme ends will also be finished in chrome. The MPV will get dual-tone seats with fixed headrests and pull-up type door locks. It also appears that the car will get a split-glovebox and side airbags. It will also get electrically adjustable ORVMs. The version spied seems to be top-spec.
The Renault RBC will take on the likes of the Datsun GO+ and Maruti Wagon R. It seems that the car has all the necessary equipment that is expected from a car of this class. However, it remains to be seen how much of it makes it to the base variants. It is believed that the RBC MPV will get a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine based on the one that powers the Kwid. The launch is expected to be towards the end of 2019.
