New Renault Nissan alliance has made fresh commitments for the Indian market
New Renault Nissan alliance has made some fresh investments along with renewed partnership for the Indian market. They have done an initial investment of Rs. 5300 crores for the new projects. Here are four things to know about this revised alliance –
New Cars
Six new cars have been confirmed for launch with this alliance, three for each company. These three models will be built on the common alliance platforms. However, both the brands will have their distinct design language.
The new products will include two new SUVs and a new electric car. Yes, there will be a new generation Duster and a 7-seater version of it that is likely to be inspired by the Renault Bigster concept. Nissan will also share the same platform like we used to see the Duster Terrano duo in the Indian market.
International Hub In Chennai
The alliance wants to make India as the hub of their exports. The new products will not only be sold in the domestic market but will also be exported to the international markets. Carbon Neutral Vehicle Manufacturing
