If you are in the festive mood and plan to bring a compact SUV home, now would be a good time to head to your nearest Renault dealership. In a bid to capitalize on the festive season, Renault India has slashed the price of its best selling Duster SUV in the country by a hefty margin and is also offering a host of goodies and freebies to lure more buyers towards the product. Being a limited period offer, the discounts on the Duster can be availed on or before 15th September, 2014.
For the limited period, the Renault Duster is available at a special price of Rs. 8.18 lakhs, in comparison to the standard price of Rs. 8.70 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base RxE variant. Renault is also offering an additional two years warranty along with the standard two year warranty period and four years of free road side assistance. In addition, the French automaker will provide free insurance and an assured gift worth Rs. 20,000/- to customers.
There are no changes to the mechanicals or equipment list on the Renault Duster. The compact SUV continues to draw power from the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that produces 85 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The limited offer is only restricted to the base variant and deliveries will commence by the end of September across the country. Renault will also launch the long awaited Duster 4×4 in the coming weeks that is expected to generate some sales during the festive season.
