Royal Enfield has launched the limited edition Pegasus 500 with ABS in Argentina.
Royal Enfield has been in the talks since they have launched this limited edition Pegasus 500. The limited edition was made to pay homage to the British paratroopers from the World War II, known as the Flying Flea. There will be 500 units of Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 manufactured and it will be available in two colour options- Service Brown and Olive Drab Green. However, the Indian market only received the Service Brown colour as Olive Drab Green is exclusive for the Indian Army.
The Pegasus 500 gets unique stencilled numbers on the tanks along with some other stickers. The bike gets canvas panniers on both sides, the handle grips are of brown colour, there is a leather strap with brass buckle on the air filter box. The exhaust, rims, kickstart, and pedals are blacked out for this limited-edition.
The engine of the Pegasus 500 will be the same 499cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine. The power figures of the engine are 27.2 BHP and 41.3 Nm. This limited-edition Pegasus 500 which is launched in Argentina gets an additional ABS, which was missed out on the Indian model.
