RE Himalayan Sleet is now a new colour variant, comes at a price of Rs. 1.71 lakhs.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet was launched earlier this year and was available for bookings only via online method. However, the company has made now made the Himalayan Sleet available as a new colour variant and this particular colour comes priced at Rs. 1.71 lakhs (ex-showroom) which makes it Rs. 3672/- more expensive than the regular Snow and Granite colours. The Himalayan Sleet is now available through RE dealerships across India.
The Himalayan Sleet comes with the camouflage paint scheme and nothing else has been altered. The company is charging Rs. 3672/- more for the paint scheme which sounds like a fair deal. The Sleet misses out on the Explorer kit which consists of two 26-litre panniers, cross brace handlebar and a leg guard. Nonetheless, customers can get the Explorer kit for an additional Rs. 31,900/- that is inclusive of fitting charges as well.
The Himalayan Sleet continues to be powered by a 411cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected and air-cooled motor that produces 24.5 BHP of power and 32 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Himalayan has no direct rivals in India but in terms of the pricing, it rivals the Bajaj Dominar 400, Mahindra Mojo and the KTM Duke 250.
