The locally manufactured Range Rover Velar will offer two powertrain options.
Jaguar Land Rover has announced the local assembly of the Range Rover Velar SUV. The automaker has started CKD assembly of the Velar and the CKD version will be available in the R-Dynamic S trim with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The CKD Range Rover Velar will be available in two powertrain options, a 2.0-litre petrol engine making 247 HP and a 2.0-litre diesel engine making 177 HP. The company is also accepting bookings of the vehicle and deliveries of the Velar are said to begin by early May 2019.
Coming to the vehicle, the SUV is available in the R-Dynamic S derivative. The vehicle gets features like Touch Pro Duo, Activity Key, Wi-Fi and Pro Services, a 380W Meridian Sound System, four-zone climate control, Cabin Air Ionisation, Premium Leather Interiors, 20-inch wheels including a spare, R-Dynamic exterior pack, adaptive dynamics, premium LED headlights, LED DRLs and Park Assist to name a few.
The 2019 Range Rover Velar CKD is priced from Rs. 72.47 lakhs (ex-showroom). While the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel R-Dynamic S trims are CKD, the other variants and engine options are available via the CBU route.
