Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is limited to only 12 units, customised for India
Land Rover Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 4.98 crores (ex-showroom). This exclusive edition, limited to just 12 units, has been designed by the brand’s bespoke Special Vehicle (SV) division and is inspired by the majesty of the tiger in its natural habitat, reflecting a unique connection to India’s wildlife.
Exclusive Design Elements
The Ranthambore Edition is built on the long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover, already available in India and has received several distinctive features to differentiate it from the standard SV model. The exterior boasts a bespoke black finish with subtle reddish undertones, complemented by Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents on the grille, tailgate and 23-inch alloy wheels. The colour scheme is said to evoke the stripes of a tiger, paying homage to the predator’s unique presence in the Ranthambore National Park.
To emphasise its exclusivity, each of the 12 units features bespoke door sill plates, marked with the edition number (for example, “1 of 12”).
Luxurious Interior Inspired by Nature
Inside, the four-seat cabin is outfitted with Caraway and Perlino semi-aniline leather, featuring contrast stitching and tiger stripe-inspired embroidery on the seats. Custom scatter cushions, chrome highlights, light Wenge wood veneers and white ceramic dials further enhance the opulent yet nature-inspired theme.
Rear-seat passengers are treated to a range of luxurious features, including fully reclinable seats, a powered table, deployable cupholders and a refrigerated compartment complete with bespoke SV-etched glassware, underscoring the comfort and attention to detail offered by the SV division.
Performance and Powertrain
The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is powered by the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine found in the Range Rover Autobiography variant. This engine produces 400 HP and 550 Nm of torque.
Supporting Wildlife Conservation
In line with the theme of this special edition, Land Rover has announced that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Ranthambore Edition will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, with its striking design elements and luxurious features, is an offering tailored specifically for Indian buyers. With only 12 units available, it combines exclusivity, luxury and a nod to wildlife conservation, making it a unique addition to the Range Rover lineup in India.
