The prices of the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, which made its global debut only yesterday, have been revealed for the Indian market and the luxury SUV can be had for a starting price of Rs. 1,64,29,000/- (ex-showroom). Deliveries are set to begin from November.

Only 1 powertrain will be on offer – the 3-litre inline 6 diesel with mild hybrid tech that puts out 350 PS and 700 Nm. The engine will come mated with the standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) system. The petrol variants are expected to go on sale by 2023.

There are 4 variants on offer – Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSC, Autobiography, and First Edition with prices going up to Rs. 1.84 crore for the top-end variant.

There are a total 9 colours on offer – Borasco Grey, Firenze Red, Giola Green, Eiger Grey, Fuji White, Lantau Bronze, Portofino Blue, Santorini Black, and Varesine Blue. The First Edition, however, is available only in Giola Green, Firenze Red, and Varesine Blue.

Controlling everything from navigation to media and vehicle settings, it learns the users’ habits and intelligently personalises the onboard experience. The updated Amazon Alexa2 now has the ability to control various settings using voice commands.

For the driver, there’s a 13.7-inch interactive display. The luxury SUV gets a new cabin air purification system and Meridian Signature Sound System with 29 speakers. There are 4 headrest speakers to create personal sound zones for the cabin occupants.

The Range Rover Sport is based on Land Rover’s Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex) that includes a comprehensive dynamic toolkit and a suite of technologies governed by Land Rover’s Integrated Chassis Control system.
