Land Rover has launched the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition based on the Evoque SE in India at a price of Rs. 50.2 lakhs.
Owned by Tata Motors since 2008, luxury car brand Land Rover is in the process of updating its model lineup in India for the year 2018 which is essential to sustain the growth witnessed by the brand. Along with MY2018 Range Rover Evoque, the company has introduced the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition in the country at a price of Rs. 50.2 lakhs (ex-showroom, India) which offers distinctive styling elements and a host of additional features.
The Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition is based on the SE trim of the regular car and gets a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine under the hood that develops 177 BHP of power and 430 Nm of torque. Power from the 4-cylinder mill is transmitted to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. To differentiate it from the regular Evoque, Land Rover offers the Landmark Edition in Moraine Blue and Corris Grey apart from Yulong White colour option.
On the outside, the SUV gets Dynamic Body Style kit, door cladding, Graphite Atlas front grille, lettering on the bonnet, fender vents and tailgate, Carpathian Grey contrast roof and 18-inch split 5-spoke alloy wheels dipped in black. Changes can also be seen on the inside. The cabin gets grained Ebony leather seats with contrast Light Lunar stitching and flaunts a brushed aluminium trim on the centre console. There are additions to the feature list as well.
The Landmark Edition gets a powered tailgate and keyless entry as standard in addition to WiFi Hotspot and Pro services which have been made standard on the entire Range Rover Evoque range. These additions indeed bring more value to the package along with a sense of exclusivity for customers. The Range Rover Evoque competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
