Range Rover siblings crash test results out
Range Rover and Range Rover Sport crash test conducted under Euro NCAP and both the SUVs score full 5 stars. Both the new generation Land Rovers have scored the maximum rating.
The flagship Range Rover has scored 84 percent for adult occupant safety, 87 percent for child occupant safety, 72 percent for Vulnerable Road Users and 82 percent for safety assist.
The Range Rover Sport on the other hand has achieved 85 percent for both adult and child occupant safety, 72 percent for Vulnerable Road Users and 82 percent for safety assist.
The SUVs tested at Euro NCAP came fitted with standard equipment. The British carmaker claims that both the SUVs are stiffer than their predecessors. The Range Rover is 50 percent stiffer than the outgoing model while the Range Rover Sport is 35 percent stiffer than its predecessor.
Both the models are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to boost the safety. It includes tech like 3D Surround Camera and ClearSight Ground View, Driver Condition Response, Pre-emptive suspension, Adaptive Cruise Control and Steering Assist and Park Assist.
