Bajaj will soon be launching the Pulsar RS 200 in India. The vehicle has been spotted at a dealership ahead of the launch.
Bajaj has been testing the Pulsar RS 200 in the country since a long time. Finally, the bike will be launched in India on the 26th of March. It will provide riders an opportunity to buy a fully-faired bike with a powerful engine for a not so high price. Considering the bike will be in high demand, dealers have already started receiving the bike and are stocking up to ensure waiting period is at the lowest. Initially, the bike is supposed to have a fairly high demand which might settle down a bit in the coming months.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 has been recently spotted at a dealership and many of the elements can be seen in the pictures. Finally the suspense is over. RS stands for Race Sport. The bike will be equipped with MRF Zapper S tyres which will provide better stability and enhance the cornering ability of the machine. The model equipped with ABS gets an ABS sticker on the front fender whereas the RS 200 decal sits next to the passenger seat. Steel braided brake lines will help further improve the braking performance.
The Pulsar RS 200 also gets some segment first features like LED indicators and projector headlamps. Equipped with fuel injection system like the Turkish variant, the RS 200 is expected to produce 24.4 PS of power and 18.6 Nm of torque which will make it sufficiently fast for Indian roads. We need to wait for two more days to see how Bajaj prices this bike considering the Suzuki Gixxer SF is also launching next month and will compete with the RS 200 despite being much lower on power. The RS 200 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
