Pulsar 200 SS Spotted Testing in Columbia Without Camouflage

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS was spotted testing in Columbia which is expected to be one of the first international markets after Turkey to get the new full-faired sports bike.

The international spec 200 SS gets fuel-injection and ABS as standard

The 2015 Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS has been in the news this week for all the right reasons. From the spy shots revealing the bike completely undisguised to the inclusion of ABS for the international markets at least; Bajaj has surely kept our hopes high with their new flagship offering that is set to hit Indian roads in early 2015. However, it is not just India and Turkey that will get the bike next year as the 200 SS was spotted testing on Columbian roads recently.

Sporting a dual tone paint job, two test mules of the Pulsar 200 SS were spotted done up in Blue and White as well as red and white, while yellow and white is already confirmed. An all-black version or a black-white version will also be on offer on the full-faired bike. Seeing the bike in action, the first thing you do notice is the road presence of the new 200 SS that is surely far from small. The design might seem overdone at first but does offer lot of style. The seating position also seemed a bit relaxed as opposed to the sporty position seen on full faired sports bike. This ensures that the Pulsar 200 SS will be easy to switch from a track scorcher to an everyday commuter.

In terms of specifications, official details are not out yet but we do know that Bajaj will be offering the 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the 200 NS on the new 200 SS, and it will come equipped with a fuel-injection system for both domestic and international markets. Apart from improving throttle response and fuel efficiency, the FI system also increases the power output on the 200 SS at 24.4 PS, while the Indian version will churn out 23.70 PS of power. The Pulsar 200 SS will rival the Hero Karizma ZMR and Yamaha R15 as it has no direct competition at its expected Rs. 1.35 lakh price point.

The 200 SS will be offered in 4 dual-tone paint schemes including blue, red, yellow & black
The bike shares its mechanicals with the 200 NS & the design with the 400 SS
