The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will come with single-channel ABS and BS-IV compliance.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS was a popular bike in its segment, selling 2500-3000 units a month. To make way for the new Pulsar AS 200 and the relaunched Avenger series, Bajaj stopped production of the Pulsar 200 NS for local sales and the bike has been unavailable since almost a year. However, it has now come to light that Bajaj will relaunch the 200 NS in 2017 and it will come with some big changes.
Bajaj will launch an ABS-equipped version of the 200 NS and it will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The bike will have a single-channel ABS unit that will be shared with the Pulsar RS 200. The 200cc motorbike will come with the same specs as before and it will be BS-IV compliant now. It will also get some new colours and stickers. It is unlikely to get an FI system even though the same is offered globally.
Even now, Bajaj is still producing the Pulsar 200 NS but it is only for export markets like Latin America where it is fetching good sales. Once the updated model is launched, Bajaj will use that version for exports also. The Pulsar 200 NS FI will be priced more than the Pulsar AS 200.
