Porsche Macan Turbo with performance pack has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 1.41 crore (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
The Porsche Macan Turbo already generates plenty of power and now it comes with a performance pack upgrade. The performance package will boost the power of the 3.6-litre V6 twin-turbo engine by 40 HP and torque by 50 Nm. The Macan now produces a total 440 HP of power and 600 Nm of torque, with 0-100 km/hr coming up in 4.4 seconds while top speed is rated at 272 km/hr.
The added potential requires more stopping power. The discs on the Macan Turbo are now 390 mm in diameter and six-piston calipers for crisp bite. The calipers are painted in red colour for an contrasting appearance.
The Macan Turbo gets an air suspension as standard that by default lowers the height by 10 mm. The air suspension system is also self-levelling and adjusts the height of the vehicle automatically as well. Porsche Active Suspension Management system is installed in the Macan Turbo that will drop the vehicle’s height by 15 mm at the tap of a button for improved dynamics.
The performance pack also includes a new sport exhaust system and Sport Chrono package which makes the Macan Turbo a true performance car. There are some cosmetic changes which includes 21-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps that come with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus and a Turbo interior Package. Buyers are also offered a range of additional options to customise the vehicle as per their liking.
