Piaggio has showcased the Vespa 946 at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. The stunning scooter has been designed in association with the Italian fashion giant, Armani.
Piaggio first launched the stunning Vespa 946 Emporio Armani back in 2015 to celebrate 130 years of the Italian automaker’s presence in the automotive industry. This very special Vespa has finally made its way to India via the ongoing Auto Expo in Delhi. the Vespa 946 is considered as a ‘Super Premium’ scooter not only in India, but all over the world.
It features a single cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel injected petrol engine. It puts out 12.7 BHP of power owing to its 3-valve SOHC and port injection fueling system. Defining premium, the Vespa 946 is equipped with Piaggio’s ASR traction control system and dual channel ABS. Yes, that’s right, this one’s got premium written all over it! With a claimed fuel efficiency of 50 km/l and a top speed of 92 Km/hr, the Vespa 946 is surely an efficient product to spend all those extra bucks on.
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani also features an LCD multifunction display with LED lighting and turn signals. The scooter is signed by Giorgio Armani himself in a very special color, to which Piaggio says was “created by the stylist from a special palette of greys with the barest hint of green, which can only be seen in certain light.” The scooter would surely make an exclusive addition to the collection of connoisseurs as the actual launch of this one remains a mystery.
