Performance bike sales stayed strong in February 2022
The Royal Enfield 650 twins yet again lead the sales in the performance bike segment and in February 2022 they registered sales of 2469 units combined, which is impressive indeed.
Triumph’s Tiger 850 Sport and 900 found 30 new homes last month to come second, albeit a very distant one, and the Kawasaki Z900 was pushed to third spot with 28 unit sales during the same period.
Twenty four units of fourth-placed Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX was ridden home by 1 new customer each in February, while Triumph’s Street Triple sold 21 times over during the same period.
The Ninja 650, also from Kawasaki, came sixth in the February 2022 performance bike sales chart as 20 units of the bike were retailed by the Japanese brand last month.
Honda’s 650R twins came seventh with 19 unit sales, followed by the Triumph Trident which registered sales of 17 units in the shortest month of the year.
Ninth place in the above listed sales chart was occupied by the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT and the third-generation Hayabusa, as both bikes found 12 new homes this past month.
Finally, tenth place was shared between 4 motorcycles – Harley-Davidson’s Fat Boy and Sportster S, Kawasaki’s Versys 650 and Triumph’s Street Twin. They registered sales of 10 units.
