Pakistani Sigma Motorsports’ Lion 150 bears a shocking resemblance to the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.
Sigma Lion 150 is a bike manufactured by a Chinese brand called Zongsheng. It is imported and sold in Pakistan by Sigma Motorsports. The interesting thing here is the shocking resemblance the bike has to the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 that is on sale in the Indian and some international markets. The face of the bike is dead identical to the fully faired Pulsar and Chinese have again proved that they are the best when it comes to the copying job.
The Lion 150 draws power from a 150cc liquid-cooled motor that channels power to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. However, the power and torque figures aren’t listed even on the company’s official website. That’s quite shocking as well! Like the India-spec Pulsar RS 200, the Lion 150 uses telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. However, braking performance is via dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. ABS isn’t offered.
The yellow and the red colour schemes are also near identical to the Pulsar RS 200’s. However, there’s a black and green paint scheme that looks distinctive. The Sigma Lion 150 is priced at PKR (Pakistani Rupee) 2.80 lakhs which is approximately Rs. 1.58 lakhs. What will definitely leave the readers and probably the buyers of this motorcycle laughing is the warranty offered with it. Just 1500 kms of warranty!
