Website of Bajaj Auto crashes after huge initial response for the newly launched Dominar 400.
The Dominar 400 has been the talk of the town lately. The bike has become hugely popular among the masses due tho the attractive VFM proposition offered by it. People on the internet are just talking about the flagship Bajaj motorcycle. Many people desire to buy the bike as soon as possible.
Such was the response of people post the Dominar 400 launch that the website of Bajaj Auto crashed with a flood of inquires about the model. According to a press release by Bajaj, the website had 2.6 lakh sessions on the first day itself.
Also, Bajaj states that the webcast of the the Dominar 400 launch event in Delhi had a whopping 1.2 lakh webcast views even after the event getting delayed by 40 minutes. The commercial saw over 4 million views on the first day itself. Customers can reserve their Dominar 400 though centralised online booking for an amount of Rs. 9000/-.
The motorcycle is powered by a 373.3cc engine putting out 35 PS of power and 35 Nm of twisting force. It comes with a host of features including a fully digital split instrument cluster, optional dual-channel ABS and a slipper clutch. The introductory price of 1.36 lakh (ex-Showroom, Delhi) is too tempting for a motorcycle of this class.
When the initial hype dies down and the reviews of the motorcycle come out, it will be interesting to see how the Dominar 400 manages to hold itself in the market. If the same demand for the motorcycle continues then Bajaj would have to ramp up the production to meet the demand in the market.
