Ola S1 price is introductory and applicable only for limited scooters, reservation window open till 31st August
Ola Electric has launched, or rather relaunched, the base S1 electric scooter for a price tag of Rs. 99,999/- (ex-showroom). The price is introductory and applicable only for limited number of scooters.
Buyers can make a reservation paying a token amount of Rs. 499/- on Ola Electric’s official website. The reservation window is open till 31st August.
Those who had reserved the scooter during the said window will be offered early purchase access on 1st September. Others will be able to purchase the scooter from 2nd September onwards. Deliveries will start from 7th September.
The all-new S1 is built on the same platform as the S1 Pro, has the same Move OS software, and the same design. It has a battery capacity of 3 kWh, and ARAI claimed range of 131 km.
As far as true range is concerned, the scooter has a claimed 128 km in eco mode, 101 km in normal mode, and 90 km in sports mode. The top speed is capped at 95 km/hr making it the fastest scooter in its segment.
The features on offer include music, navigation, companion app, reverse mode, etc. The scooter will also support future upgrades such as Move OS 3 and beyond. There are 5 colours on offer – Porcelain White, Neo Mint, Coral Glam, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver.
Buyers can purchase the scooter online using multiple payment options like credit cards and loans. EMI starts at Rs. 2999/-. There are loan processing fee weavers as well.
Exended Warranty:
New and existing owners of Ola scooters can now extend their warranty up to 5 years. It covers battery, motor, key components, and all other standard parts. This warranty product can be purchased from Ola app.
Diwali Updates:
This Diwali, Ola Electric will launch more than 100 hyper chargers across top 50 cities of the country and the highly-asked-for Move OS 3. It will have features such as moods, digital key sharing, proximity unlock, improved regen, documents on the scooter, etc.
Limited Edition S1 Pro:
Those who are planning to get the S1 Pro have a great option now. The scooter has got a new Khaki colour but production is limited to just 1947 units.
