Perched on top of the October 2021 compact SUV sales chart is the Hyundai Venue, which registered sales of 10,554 units.
Following it within a hair’s breadth is the Nexon, 10,096 units of which were retailed by Tata Motors last month.
Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza, which is usually found at the top of the compact SUV sales chart came third in October by registering sales of 8032 units.
Fourth-placed Sonet from Kia India found 5443 new homes, while the Mahindra XUV300, one of the safest vehicles to have plied the Indian roads, came next with 4203 unit sales.
Nissan delivered 3389 units of the Magnite this past month, while 2692 customers took home the Mahindra Thar during the same period.
Eighth place in the October 2021 compact SUV sales chart was occupied by the Renault Kiger which registered sales of 2632 units.
In the last 2 places came the Toyota Urban Cruiser (2100 units) and the Honda WR-V (728 units), while total sales of cars in the list came in at 49,880 units, which is a 3 percent year-on-year (YoY) sales growth.
Except the top 2 cars, none of the others, barring those who have yet to complete a year in the market, posted sales growth.
