Dwindling sedan sales did not rise back up in November 2021 and even the compact segment is feeling the heat of late.
Leading the segment is the Maruti Dzire with 8196 unit sales, while the Hyundai Aura came next by registering sales of 2562 units.
On the other hand, the refreshed Honda Amaze came third with 2344 unit sales, while the Tata Tigor came last with 1785 units to its name.
Overall, the sedans of the compact segment registered sales of 14,887 units, which is a 34 percent year-on-year (YoY) degrowth.

On top of the November 2021 C-segment sedan sales chart is the Honda City which found 2666 new homes, while its arch rival, the Hyundai Verna found 1648 new takers.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz came next with 1089 unit sales, whereas the Volkswagen Vento (107 units) and Skoda Rapid (22 units) did not fare well.
In all, the C-segment sedans registered sales of 5532 units, as opposed to 7548 units during the same period last year.
