Occupying the top spot of the November 2021 compact SUV sales chart is the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, which registered sales of 10,760 units.
Second place in the chart continues to be the Tata Nexon’s position once again, with the compact SUV finding 9831 new homes this past month.
Hyundai’s Venue came third with 7932 unit sales, followed by the Kia Sonet which registered sales of 4719 units. The next 2 positions in the November 2021 compact SUV sales chart are occupied by Mahindra’s XUV300 and Thar.
The Indian brand retailed 4005 units of one of the safest cars on sale in the market and delivered 3181 units of its compact off-roader in the same period.
Toyota retailed 2850 units of the Urban Cruiser this past month, while Nissan sold 2292 units of the Magnite. Its twin, the Renault Kiger found 2062 new homes in November.
Of all the cars in the list, the Nexon (63 percent), Vitara Brezza (37 percent), Thar (24 percent) ad Urban Cruiser (1 percent) were the ones that registered year-on-year (YoY) sales growth.
In all, the cars in the compact SUV segment collectively registered sales of 47,752 units, which is a 5 percent growth when compared with the same period a year before.
