The Honda Activa degrew 3% in November 2019.
The juggle for the top spot in the top-selling 2-wheeler list goes on and on between the Honda Activa and the Hero Splendor. However, in November 2019, it was the Honda Activa that dominated the top-selling chart. The Activa sold 2,12,164 units whereas, the Hero Splendor sold 1,81,757 units, a significant 19% lesser units than the numbers of November 2018.
The second scooter on the list happens to be the TVS Super XL-Moped selling one-fourth units less. Next is the Suzuki Access, which sold four times lesser than the Honda Activa but, it sold 16% more than the previous year. The Hero HF Deluxe sales have decreased by 6% while the Honda CB Shine is right behind the HF Deluxe in terms of sales, followed by the Bajaj Platina, which sold 53,105 units.
Speaking for Royal Enfield, the Classic 350 performed better than the others, sitting in the 14th position. The Bajaj CT 100 has also seen a significant fall in sales with a 21% negative YoY score. The TVS Jupiter and the Hero Passion hit the worse figures by recording 41% and 47% YoY, respectively. The only Yamaha on the list is the FZ which sold 17,344 units with a 22% rise in YoY growth.
The top gainer in this list is the Hero Pleasure with 38% YoY growth and worst-hit 2-wheeler is the Honda Dream with 48% slump in sales compared to the previous year. More than half of the top 25 selling 2-wheelers have faced negative growth compared to the previous year.
