The Nissan Terrano facelift will be launched in India in the coming few months.
The Nissan Terrano has been on sale in the Indian market since September 2013 and the vehicle has since then never received any updates to its exteriors or interiors. It only got a small update few months back when Nissan decided to plonk in a 6-speed AMT gearbox on the top diesel variant of the compact SUV.
Nissan is readying a facelift of the Terrano and it will be launched by March-April 2017. The facelifted version will come with redesigned exteriors and revised interiors. We can also expect it to get some more features. On the mechanical front, the Terrano will remain unchanged with its 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre (85 PS and 110 PS) diesel engines.
The Nissan Terrano competes with the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-Cross and the Japanese automaker has been facing a tough time in selling the car, since it is essentially the same as the Duster which is priced lesser than the Terrano and comes with better equipment and fresher looks. The Nissan Terrano facelift will help the company get a boost in sales numbers.
