The Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition gets a new heads up display system, reverse parking sensors, driver seat height adjustment among several other notable features.
In what is fondly termed as a better looking Renault Duster, Nissan India has launched the Terrano Anniversary Edition on its website to celebrate the SUV’s first year of sales in the country. Launched on 9th October last year, the Terrano is essentially a Duster underneath with redesigned front and rear fascia and additional goodies inside the cabin. Nissan is also using this opportunity to promote online booking of its vehicles and the Anniversary edition has to be booked online via the company’s website even if you approach the dealership directly.
Nissan is offering the Terrano Anniversary edition on two variants including the XV D THP and the XV D THP Premium. Both the variants are powered by the same 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that produces 110 PS of power, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Anniversary Edition comes pretty loaded with a host of aesthetic upgrades and new features on offer. The exteriors get a black contrast roof with racing stripes on the hood, new black ORVM covers and rear spoiler as well as the ‘Anniversary Edition’ badge on the sides and rear. Further added to the package are the side steps, chrome finished door handles and boot entry guard that offers a premium look.
On the inside, there is the new heads up display system standard on both variants, while the VXD THP variant gets driver seat height adjust, reverse parking sensors and a leather wrapped steering wheel as well as gear shift knob on offer. The top-end XV D Premium on the other hand adds Zebra wood front and rear door armrest finish, door trim step as well as leather seats. The Terrano Anniversary Edition is available in five colours including Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Fire Red, Sterling Grey and Pearl White.
Keeping the special edition exclusive, Nissan is offering only 450 units of the Terrano Anniversary Edition that can be booked online HERE. The good thing about booking online is that you also get a countdown box at the side that will tell you on the number of units remaining for the special edition model. Coming to the prices, the Anniversary Edition will cost you a premium of Rs. 64,000/- over the regular version and is priced at Rs. 12.83 lakhs for the X VD THP trim and Rs. 13.13 lakhs for the X VD THP Premium trim (ex-showroom, Delhi).
