The Nissan Terrano AMT price has been announced and the company has given its compact SUV an update with 14 changes. Unlike the Renault Duster facelift, the Terrano doesn’t get drastic changes.
Nissan was teasing the Terrano AMT on its Twitter handle since a couple of days and the company has now announced opening of bookings for the vehicle. The Nissan Terrano AMT has been priced between Rs. 13.75 – 13.85 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in the top spec XVD Premium trim. Pre-bookings can be done with a deposit of Rs. 25,000/- while deliveries will commence later this month.
Powering the Nissan Terrano AMT is a 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates 110 PS of power and 248 Nm of torque, having an ARAI claimed mileage of 19.61 km/l. The vehicle also comes equipped with Hill Assist Control and ESP. The Japanese automaker calls the automatic model as ‘Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive’ even though it uses a cost effective AMT gearbox.
Along with the addition of AMT, Nissan has also updated the Terrano with 14 enhancements across the model range such as anti-pinch driver side window, electrically folding ORVMs with turn signals, one touch turn indicators and soft touch plastics on the door trim and dashboard. All variants get a new door trim design, white backlit illumination on the door switches, automatic warning for emergency braking and one touch turn indicators. A new Sandstone Brown colour has been added to the colour palette.
