The C-segment is heating up all of a sudden. The upper end of the sedan segment which was previously dominated by Honda’s City is set to see more action in the coming days as the new Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta and Skoda Rapid get launched. But that is not all as Nissan plans to launch its Sunny, which has been spotted undergoing tests in Chennai. The car is believed to be similar in spec to its US version and will be powered by a 1.6 liter petrol, 1.5 liter diesel (from the Micra). It called be called Almera (which is Hindi for cupboard).
