Nissan Magnite Geza edition is exclusively available with the turbo petrol CVT trim
Nissan has launched Magnite Geza special edition with a price tag of Rs. 9.84 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available only with the turbo petrol CVT variant and there are no other variants on offer. It is the most accessible CVT variant in the Magnite lineup with a price difference of Rs. 36,000/- between this and the XV trim, which is priced at Rs. 10.20 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Geza nomenclature is inspired by Japanese theatre and its expressive musical themes. Some of the features of this special edition include 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, JBL audio system, rear camera with trajectory line, ambient lighting with Nissan app-based controls, beige coloured seat upholstery option and Geza edition badging on the interior and exterior.
The Nissan Magnite Geza special edition is available exclusively with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 100 PS at 5000 RPM and 152 Nm torque at 2200-4400 RPM, mated to a CVT automatic transmission. While this engine is also available with 5-speed manual, Nissan is not offering it with the Geza edition.
With the launch of this special edition, the Japanese carmaker wants to make the CVT trims accessible to a wider audience with an attractive price positioning. This will help boost the sales of the compact SUV to a certain extent.
Nissan is also preparing to launch the updated Magnite facelift that will get cosmetic changes and new features on offer. The prototypes have been spotted testing recently with heavy camouflage.
The Nissan Magnite continues to compete with the rivals like Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon and the likes.
