Nissan Magnite, the upcoming B-SUV is teased in its concept form. The Japanese carmaker will reveal the compact SUV’s concept on 16th July at their global headquarters. Meanwhile they have shared a glimpse of the B-SUV concept.
The front profile comes with a huge grille. There are sleek LED headlights and a unique DRLs design that starts from the bumper and connects to the headlights.
You can notice front skid plate with ribbed pattern for a rugged appeal. Adding to the rugged styling of the compact SUV are the huge wheel arches with plastic cladding. There are dual tone silver and black alloy wheels.
While the rear styling is not shown here, we have seen multiple teasers and silhouettes of the car before. It comes with LED tail lights. The roofline is more crossover oriented, similar to what we’ve seen on the Nissan Kicks.
The compact SUV was expected to launch by the festive season this year but now it is delayed due to the ongoing pandemic disruption in production and supply chain. The company says it will be introduced in the second half of FY 2020-21.
Meanwhile Renault is preparing to launch the Kiger compact SUV which is based on the same platform and it is expected to go on sale in October this year.
The Nissan B-SUV will compete against the Renault Kiger, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and the likes. Price is expected to start from Rs. 5.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
