Nissan Kicks BS6 update to come with new engine and new features on offer.
Nissan recently announced the introduction of new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine with the BS6 update while hiding the additional details. The Nissan Kicks won’t come with any cosmetic changes but there are new features and mechanicals.
The updated Kicks will be offered with remote engine start system in which you can turn on the engine remotely by holding the start button on the key fob. There is a new idle start/stop system as well to save fuel.
The 2020 Nissan Kicks won’t come with the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Instead, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine has been updated with BS6 compliance and there is a new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine.
This engine produces the highest power and torque output in the segment with 156 PS and 254 Nm of torque. It will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a X-Tronic CVT automatic.
The 1.3-litre turbo engine returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.3 km/l. The 1.5-litre BS6 compliant petrol engine returns 14.1 km/l and will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The bookings for the BS6 Nissan Kicks will commence from 15th May while the prices will be announced soon after.
