Next Generation Yamaha FZ150 was spied on the Bangalore Chennai highway.
It has been years since the Yamaha FZ’s first model was launched in the market. The test model of the next-generation Yamaha FZ150 was recently spied on the Bangalore Chennai highway. This model has a sharper design while the rear-end looks similar to the current bike.
The next generation Yamaha FZ150 has LED headlight with conventional tail light and turn indicators. The fuel tank has sharp design lines with a knee recess and a short fairing underneath. The bike has a new grab rail and side-mounted exhaust with a silver coloured heat shield. The tail lamp design looks similar to the current FZ150.
As per the spy image, the bike has telescopic forks and a monoshock at the rear. It has chunky alloy wheels and it gets disc brakes at both front and rear. The test model was equipped with a large floating mudguard.
The current generation Yamaha FZ is available in two variants – FZ and FZS. The bike is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection which produces 13 BHP and 12.8 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
