The current iteration of the Duster will continue to be sold and the new model has to wait till 2019.
After it got unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show, the next generation Renault Duster delighted a lot of car enthusiasts who love the current generation model. The India launch of the new generation of the Renault Duster will take place in 2019 which is no surprise as this was revealed by the manufacturer last year.
As stated by a top Renault official, the company plans to expand its product portfolio by launching one car every year. This year, for sure, is dedicated for the premium compact SUV Captur, bookings for which have already been commenced and the launch is around the corner. Next year, though, will perhaps see the launch of a crossover 7-seater MPV.
What else to be noted is that Renault’s version of the Duster is due to be unveiled, as reported by a company spokesperson. The model which we have admired was the Dacia Duster. However, if the India-spec model follows the same design cues, with those brawny and futuristic aesthetics, the car is definitely going to be a hit.
The current portfolio of the company consists of three models including the Kwid, Lodgy, and Duster. Recently, the French carmaker discontinued four of its models for India, which includes the Fluence, Koleos, Pulse, and Scala. Poor sales figures of these cars made the company take this step.
