2024 Maruti Swift to get a strong hybrid powertrain developed with Toyota
2024 Maruti Swift more details revealed as the global debut of the new generation hatchback nears. According to latest reports, the new Swift will make its world premiere this October.
The new generation model will be revealed for the first time at the 2023 Japanese Motor Show in October. We expect the new Swift to make its India debut in early 2024.
The new version will get substantial changes in terms of looks, interior, features and even powertrain options. Suzuki will be offering a new strong hybrid petrol engine for the Swift and even the Dzire. The new hybrid powertrain has been developed by Toyota.
There will be no all-electric version yet for the Swift. It will also come with the same K-Series 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor. We hope Maruti Suzuki also considers to launch the 1.0-litre BoosterJet turbo petrol engine with a sporty variant of the next gen Swift.
As per the recent spy shots of the new Swift, you can notice a similar silhouette but a completely new styling patter with a more curvy design. The new model will get rid of pillar mounted rear door handles and will instead come with the conventional door mounted layout.
It will get a completely new interior with a large touchscreen infotainment system and hopefully an all-digital instrument cluster. Expect the latest features on offer like wireless phone charger, 360 degree camera, heads-up display, etc. with the new iteration.
