2025 Audi Q7 Spied

Next gen Audi Q7 to get a completely new look with futuristic design elements

Audi introduced the second generation Q7 back in 2015. Since then it has got a couple of facelifts, the most recent one was revealed in January with mild cosmetic tweaks and new features. The German luxury carmaker is currently testing the new generation Q7 that has been spotted with a completely new design language.

The third generation model will make its global debut next year, when the second generation will complete 10 years of existence. The new model will get an aggressive new stance exhibiting Audi’s latest design direction.

The test mule reveals a bold new front profile featuring a large grille that gets completely new design details and a revised shape. The lights follow the current trend of LED DRLs on top and bumper integrated main headlamp units. The lower part of the bumper looks sharp as well and integrates ADAS radars and sensors.

From the side profile it gets a broad-shouldered look unlike the outgoing model that looks sleeker. It seems like they have raised the hight of the new Q7 for an intimidating road presence. Of course ti will get a range of new alloy wheel design options.

The biggest change you see here is the new door handle design, which looks inspired by Ferrari Purosangue. These are small clip-type handles mounted on the edge of the doors that you pull to open. We will see these unique handles for the first time in this segment and this might become the new trend in the upcoming cars.

The rear profile also gets some dramatic changes with a sculpted tailgate design, new set of tail lights and a brawny bumper. The overall look is completely new and doesn’t resemble the outgoing version from any angle.

The interior of the new generation Q7 will be completely revamped featuring large screens for the infotainment system as well as the instrument cluster. We can also expect a third screen on the passenger side. New dashboard along with new steering wheel design and a ton of new features are expected to be offered.

Audi will be offering a range of petrol and diesel engine options in the international market with electrification to boost performance and efficiency. The carmaker will also introduce a plug-in hybrid powertrain for the new Q7 with longer electric-only driving range.

The Audi Q7 will continue to compete with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. India launch is expected soon after its global debut and mostly by 2026. How do you like the new design updates on the luxury SUV? Let us know in the comments section.
