Yezdi Adventure Magnite Maroon

New Yezdi Adventure launched with visual changes and updated mechanicals

New Yezdi Adventure launched, with a price range of Rs. 2.10 lakhs to Rs. 2.20 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). The starting price of the adventure bike is now lower. It comes with four colour options – Tornado Black (Rs. 2.10 lakhs), Magnite Maroon (Rs. 2.13 lakhs), Wolf Grey (Rs. 2.16 lakhs) and Glacier White (Rs. 2.20 lakhs).

One of the most significant changes lies in the 334cc engine. Yezdi has made several internal modifications, including optimising the coolant flow and rerouting the exhaust header to a central position. These adjustments are aimed at enhancing heat management, according to the bike maker. While the engine’s power output has slightly decreased to 29.6 HP, down by 0.7 HP, the torque remains steady at 29.8 Nm.

The design has also seen practical alterations. The previous model’s bulky tank rails, which formed a cage around the tank, have been replaced with a more streamlined system. The new tank rails, positioned only on either side of the fuel tank, contribute to a more refined appearance. Additionally, the bash plate has been redesigned and now includes an integrated sump guard, offering better protection to the engine’s underside.

The overall weight reduction is another highlight of the updated Yezdi Adventure. The motorcycle now weighs 4 kg less, while the new tank rails are 7 kg lighter. This results in a total weight reduction of 11 kg, potentially enhancing the bike’s agility and handling. However, it is worth noting that the tank rails are considered a mandatory accessory, available for an additional Rs. 3499/-.

The updates to the Yezdi Adventure are part of Yezdi’s broader effort to refine and enhance its lineup, following a similar approach taken by Classic Legends with the Jawa 350. These changes address various known issues and are expected to improve the motorcycle’s performance and appeal.
