New Mahindra MPV Launch In 2017, Spied Testing

Replacing the ongoing Xylo, the new MPV from Mahindra will be launched in the second half of 2017.

Mahindra MPV launch in 2017, looks giant and carries Mahindra’s unique design

Mahindra has been working on a new MPV, which has been spied testing with camouflage wrapped around. The spied mule was captured at the Mahindra Research Valley, which is the development centre for the Mahindra vehicles. Earlier, reports had flown that Mahindra has been working to develop a new MPV which would replace the ongoing Xylo and, finally, we have got to see the upcoming model in the flesh.

It’s apparent from the spy shots that this model has continued to follow the usual MPV design trend with a tall body and primarily focused on providing ample of space in the interiors. The grille design perfectly signifies the Mahindra brand’s traditional look while the bumpers have been kept tall, same as that on the Xylo.

Continuing the brand identity, the headlamp has been designed with the looks same as that of the Imperio Pickup. By the shrunk bonnet section and large boxy window design, it is obvious that manufacturers are keen to make it a large passenger capacity vehicle.

Though we have no details regarding the internal equipment and seating capacity of this upcoming member from Mahindra, it is predictable that the manufacturers have tried their best to make it stand efficiently in front of its rivals. By the ongoing tradition of the company to make its cars look attractive, we can expect the final model for the markets to be crisp and eye catchy.

The new MPV from Mahindra could consist of a 1.99-litre diesel engine under the hood. Later, it can also receive an update with a petrol engine having a higher capacity ‘mFalcon’ type engine. The Mahindra showrooms might get this new guest in the second half of 2017.
