Jawa has revealed an all-new engine for the motorcycle which is soon to be launched in India.
We have a good news for all the Jawa fans here, the iconic brand Jawa has revealed an all-new engine for its motorcycle range which is soon to be launched in India. Jawa has put a lot of efforts and time to come up with this all-new engine.
This engine will be a 293cc liquid cooled, single cylinder DOHC and it will produce 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque to offer a good mid-range and a flat torque curve. Jawa has been working on this new engine to deliver old charm with modern technology. The company has worked closely with one of the world’s leading engine specialist at their technical centre in Varese, Italy.
Jawa has worked keenly to retain the true old-school Jawa exhaust note. They have tuned it to give the same tone from the 4-stroke engine as their legendary 2-stroke engine used to sound. A team of sound engineers were appointed in Italy to work with Jawa. The process involved many rounds of harmonic pipe combinations to get a tone that would match the old-school Jawa sound.
This engine has been built to surpass the BS6 norms. Jawa has worked on the tuning of fuel injection to the gearbox to be able to score high on fuel emissions.
