Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has introduced a new variant of their hatchback, the Exter. The latest variant, dubbed the “Hyundai Exter Knight,” starts at Rs. 8.38 Lakh and is based on the SX and SX(O) Connect variants of the vehicle.
The Hyundai Exter Knight is available in five monotone and two dual-tone color options, including Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black (new), Shadow Grey (new), Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof, and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof (new).
The exterior of the Exter Knight features black painted side sill garnish, red accents on the front bumper and rear tailgate, red front brake calipers, black front and rear skid plates, and black painted R15 alloy wheels (SX(O) Connect). The Hyundai logo and Exter emblem are in black, and it gets the Knight emblem.
Inside, the Exter Knight gets black interiors with red accents and stitching, red footwell lighting, black satin interior door handles and steering, metal scuff plates, floor mats with red stitching, and unique Knight seat upholstery with red stitching and piping.
There are no changes in performance; the Exter Knight edition retains the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder NA petrol engine that produces 83 HP and 114 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The Hyundai Exter competes with models such as the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
