New generation Hero Karizma scheduled to launch on 29th August
New Hero Karizma XMR has been spotted on test again, revealing new details ahead of its official reveal. The Indian bike maker has teased the new model for 29th August launch.
The spy shot reveals the digital instrument cluster of the new motorcycle. It looks quite big in size and is expected to be a high resolution display with new interface as this will be their new flagship motorcycle. It is expected to come with Bluetooth connectivity offering Smartphone integration.
The switchgear design has also been revealed and it looks fresh with the clip-on handlebar. The key design can also be seen here. Overall, we will get to see some new details from a Hero bike after a long while.
We have seen leaked patent images and spy shots of the new bike previously. It will get petal disc brakes at the front and rear, split seats, side mounted exhaust, LED dual pod headlight, etc.
Engine details and specs are vague for the time being. But we expect the new generation Karizma to come with a new liquid-cooled 210cc engine that will produce around 25 BHP and 25 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will compete against the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in the Indian market.
