New-Gen Volvo S60 Bookings To Begin From January 2021, Launch In March
The car will be offered with a 190 HP petrol motor only and will be kitted out.
Volvo India has announced that the bookings for the 2021 S60 luxury sedan will take place from January next year. The Swedish carmaker has also revealed that it will be launching the car in March 2021.
To be sold in T4 Inscription trim with 3 different interior upholstery choices, the 2021 S60 will ride on 18-inch, 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels and sport LED headlights with active bending tech.
As standard, the car will have features such as 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, rear park assist camera, 4-zone climate control, wireless charging and Clean Zone air purifier tech, among others.
Known for its safety the world over, Volvo will be offering tech such as adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Aid, Pilot Assist, Driver Alert Control, Oncoming Mitigation by Braking, Speed Alert, City Safety with steering support and Hill Start Assist, as standard on the sedan.
Colour options available on the car will be five and they are – Crystal White Pearl, Denim Blue, Fusion Red, Maple Brown and Onyx Black.
Powering the sedan will be a 1969cc petrol motor that puts out a maximum of 190 HP and 300 Nm of torque. It will be mated to an 8-speed auto gearbox and there will be 3 drive modes – Comfort, Dynamic and Eco – on offer.
In terms of dimensions, the sedan will be 4761 mm long, 2040 mm wide, 1431 mm tall and the wheelbase is 2872 mm, said to be the longest in segment.
This will not be the only car launch for the firm in 2021, for the carmaker will also introduce the XC40 Recharge and at least one other model, that it is coy about, next year.
