New gen Audi Q3 likely to make its debut later in 2024
New gen Audi Q3 spotted testing for the first time. The third generation model’s prototype looks production ready in these spy shots. We believe Audi will introduce the new Q3 in India soon after its global debut.
In terms of styling, the new model looks mature than the current Q3 on sale. It has some subtle cues of the Audi Q4 e-tron from the front profile. It gets a split-headlight setup with LED DRLs on top and main headlights below. The grille looks unique and large with a fresh design DNA.
There is a sizeable ORVM on the side profile. The test mule is wearing simple looking 5-spoke alloy wheels. The car looks sleek from the side profile, doesn’t have an upright stance like its closest rival, the BMW X1. The rear profile will remind you of the old generation Q7 and Q5 siblings, having a curvy design at the rear.
We can expect the new generation Audi Q3 to feature an all-new interior layout with large screens and new tech. Hopefully the German luxury carmaker improves the space inside along with a larger boot.
The third generation Audi Q3 will be powered by multiple engine options including petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and even all-electric powertrain.
It will compete with the likes of BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40. The second generation was launched in India in 2022, it came quite late in the market after its global debut in 2018. However, this time around we can expect the new gen Q3 to hit the Indian market soon after its launch in the international markets.
