New BMW X3 Launched In India, Priced From Rs. 75.80 Lakhs

BMW launched the fourth generation of the X3 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in the Indian market, priced in the range of Rs. 75.8 lakhs to Rs. 77.8 lakhs (ex-showroom). Design Details

The BMW X3 retains the silhouette with stylistic elements that are changes which create a lasting impression. The Signature Kidney Grilles see an increase in size. The headlights also see a slight change as they are shaped in L Pattern and incorporate the sleeker DRLs. The sidelines are more smooth with a swept-up beltline. The door handles are flush with the body so as to improve the aerodynamics of the car. At the rear, the X3 gets Y Shaped Taillights, roof mounted spoiler, and a revised bumper design that incorporates the License Plate. In addition to that, the X3 also gets new Alloy Wheels design to offer a touch of personalisation to the buyers.

Interior Details

The Interior of the X3 is a combination of modern design cues and impressive technology. The dashboard has a clean design which combines the dual curved 12.3-inch Digital Driver Information Display and 14.9-inch Infotainment System. The ambient lighting’s colours are similar to more luxurious models in the BMW lineup which elevates the positioning of the X3 in terms of visual appeal. There are also updated seats which are meant to offer the best combination of support and comfort. There is also the use of exquisite materials and the glass iDrive 9 controller is one of the highlights!

The BMW X3 will be offered with various features such as dual curved screens, wireless charging, and a 15-Speaker 765W Harman Kardon sound system to rival similar luxury SUVs. There are features like three zone climate controls and panoramic sunroof which signify the status of the X3. Safety is paramount and the X3 has features like ADAS Level 2, 6 airbags, 360-degree parking camera, parking sensor and parking assistant which can manoeuvre the car out of tight spaces by memorising the data from the sensors!

Engine & Transmission

The India-Spec BMW X3 is powered by two engines. Buyers get to choose between the xDrive20 which is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder producing 190 HP and 310 Nm of torque, or the xDrive20d which is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder producing 197 HP and 400 Nm of torque! Both variants are available with an 8-Speed Torque Converter Automatic Transmission, All Wheel Drive (xDrive) capability, 48V mild hybrid system and a top speed of 215 km/hr.

Market Positioning

The BMW X3 will compete with the likes of Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5 and Range Rover Evoque and should offer a compelling choice amongst it’s contemporaries.
