The Suzuki Let’s gets a new dual-tone colour scheme providing a styling appearance and will help aid the sales of the new scooter in the country.
Launched earlier this year, Suzuki’s first mass market offering in the scooter segment the ‘Let’s’ was well received by the masses and soon also found homes in other markets including Nepal. A relatively popular seller across the border, Suzuki Nepal has launched the new Let’s limited edition version featuring a new dual-tone paint scheme for a more stylish and trendy look. The company is hoping to improve sales further with the new limited edition version and has priced the scooter at 1,60,900 Nepalese Rupee (Rs. 1,00,530/- in India).
The Suzuki Let’s limited edition model is available in four dual-tone paint schemes including red and white as well as white and black, while there is also the option of black and blue as well as blue and black. The new styling is further expected to attract a younger set of buyers, while the company has made no changes to the powertrain. The Let’s continues to use the 113cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine producing 8.7 HP of power and 9 Nm of torque on offer. Weighing in at just 98 kgs, the Let’s is also one of the lightest scooters in its class.
Retaining the same mechanicals, the Suzuki Let’s uses telescopic front forks and a swing arm suspension at the rear. Stopping power comes from drum brakes at the front and rear and the scooters carries a conservative yet pleasing design. In India, the response has been reasonably well for the Suzuki Let’s. The scooter competes against the likes of the new TVS Scooty Zest, Honda Activa-i as well as the Yamaha Ray in the segment. It is Suzuki’s first 110cc scooter offering in the country with the Access being its popular selling model in the scooter category.
