Mr. Narayanan Menon’s Tata Indigo Manza has achieved a mileage of 46.32 kmpl on 25th May, 2010. The report was sent to Limca Book of records and the test was done as per their instructions. Tata Motors acknowledged the efforts by gifting him brand new alloy wheels but have not taken any initiative from their side to promote this effort. Now, he is targeting a mileage of 50 kmpl and has applied for Guinness book of world records. The car is absolutely stock with no modifications whatsoever. However what is different is Mr. Narayanan driving techniques which helps him extract the best mileage out of any car he drives. We have verified the documents and it is indeed true, the mileage achieved is absolutely true and a eye opener to many.
What we would like to know from Mr. Narayanan are his driving techniques. This will help all of us conserve fuel and save the earth. He has promised to share with us his driving tips some time later.
