MV Agusta Kinetic partnership now comes to an end after 4 years. The Italian superbike maker along with the Indian multi-brand company Kinetic MotoRoyale announced their partnership in May 2016.
Kinetic MotoRoyale is a Pune based company which has a chain of multi-brand showrooms across the country. They also have SWM, Hyosung and FB Mondial brands under their umbrella. MotoRoyale had Norton Motorcycles too in their list of brands.
In a live session recently, MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov confirmed the news that they have now ended their partnership with Kinetic MotoRoyale. He revealed the reason behind this was constant misinterpretation of contracts from Kinetic MotoRoyale.
He added that MotoRoyale was not representing the MV Agusta brand in a right way. Now, the Italian premium motorcycle brand is looking for a new partner in India to continue their sales in our country. The CEO has confirmed that they’ll get new BS6 range with their new partner in India. The new range of bikes come with advanced features like MV Ride connected app which offers turn-by-turn navigation, ride data, etc.
Now that the pandemic crisis has hit hard, not only the Indian market but also the international markets, it will be quite an uphill battle to find a new partnership for India. Even if MV Agusta finds a sales network partner in India, this won’t be the right time to re-launch their brand which consists of premium superbikes having hefty price tags.
